Building success together globally
From Istanbul 2025 to Porto 2026, the AQUILA and BBR Network community continues to strengthen global collaboration, innovation and growth.
From 2–5 November 2025, participants from Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas came together for three days of presentations, discussions and networking. The conference encouraged the exchange of experiences, best practices and innovative ideas across regions, disciplines and markets.
AQUILA and BBR working together
The conference highlighted the synergies and growing collaboration between AQUILA and the BBR Network. The first day focused on BBR Network activities and included participation from AQUILA franchisees who are also BBR members. The second day brought together the full AQUILA and BBR community, covering topics such as asset management, structural assessment, sustainability, rehabilitation technologies and digital solutions. The final day focused exclusively on AQUILA, addressing innovation, franchise development, business growth, training, digital technologies and advanced inspection methodologies.
Innovation through shared expertise
A key theme throughout the conference was the integration of engineering expertise, non-destructive testing technologies, digital asset-management platforms and AI-enabled solutions. Practical case studies demonstrated how combining global knowledge with local execution helps AQUILA and the BBR Network deliver greater value to asset owners.
Building relationships for future growth
Beyond the technical program, participants benefited from valuable networking opportunities that strengthened existing relationships and created new partnerships. These interactions encouraged collaboration across regions and disciplines while identifying future opportunities for cooperation and business development.
Looking ahead to Porto in November 2026
We thank all speakers, franchisees, partners and guests whose contributions made the conference such a success. Building on this momentum, the global AQUILA and BBR Network community looks forward to meeting again in November 2026 in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal, with all our new franchisees joining us there.

AQUILA’s 2025 annual conference took place in November in the spectacular city of Istanbul, Turkey
The AQUILA Summit in Istanbul brought together franchisees and partners from all around the world for three days of learning, collaborating and networking
Attendees were given insights into a wide range of topics such as asset management, structural assessment, sustainability, rehabilitation technologies and digital solutions
Various speakers spoke knowledgeably about subjects including innovation, franchise development, training, digital technologies and advanced inspection methodologies
The presentations provided an excellent forum for interesting discussions about the many topics concerning members of the AQUILA network
The conference also presented many opportunities to reconnect with old friends and develop new relationships
After the wonderful experience in Istanbul, we are very much looking forward to our next annual conference in Porto, Portugal in November 2026
